If you want to learn to swing dance, this is the perfect place to start!

We have experienced instructors ready to help. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and social community. We rotate partners so you don’t even need to bring a partner. Two left feet? That doesn’t matter at all. We’ll get you bopping around to some awesome tunes.

This series of 6 classes will give you a taste of fundamentals of swing dancing footwork, moves and techniques. After these classes you’ll be ready for our drop in, Level 1 classes.

Details

Location:

Mount Hawthorn community center, lesser hall. The entrance is on ground level at the West end of the building. If you get lost, walk around the community center until you hear swing music or you see someone swing dancing.

Time:

6.30pm - 7.30pm every Thursday night

Dates:

January 15th, 22rd and 29th

February 12th, 19th and 26th
