WHERE CAN I DANCE?
The Mustang Bar
Where? 46 Lake St, Northbridge from 7-9:30pm each Friday night.
This is the longest running swing dance social in Perth, and where most dancers cut their teeth on the social floor.
Live bands create a fabulous atmosphere, and DJs keep the dancers entertained in the band breaks. You might want to get there early as the place fills to the brim each Friday night.
While the event is free, we suggest you buy yourself a drink to support the venue which has supported swing dancers for over a decade!
The Late Nite
Where? Royal Park Hall
The LATE NITE allows for dancers to keep on swingin' after the Mustang Bar on Friday nights.
It runs once a month if we can and based on the community's enthusiasm for having more social dance time! It's open from 10pm to 12am.
DJs, and occasional bands, will play a variety of tempos to satisfy the great range of swing styles danced in Perth. It is run by the community for the community, with occasional performances and games, so please come and support this cool social! It runs as a not-for-profit event, with a $5 entry fee helping to cover costs.
Stay tuned to our event page or or Facebook page for future dates.
Where? Tiger Lil's in the CBD
This is a monthly, Wednesday night social to get you over hump day. We do play fast music for experienced lindy hoppers to swing out to as well as balboa and collegiate shag dancers but we do also play slower paced tunes too for those that are new to lindy hop (and so that others can catch their breath).
Check our events page or our Facebook group for up coming dates.
The Perth Swing Dance Society organise Perth's biggest dance exchange - Hullabaloo: The Perth Lindy Exchange. This event is usually held around ANZAC weekend and invites international instructors to teach workshops, social dancing events all weekend and has dancers from all over Australia come to Perth.

Before and after classes each week
Make sure you utilise this precious time before and after classes on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights each week.
The big halls mean you can stretch out your swing outs to your heart's content and put into practice the night's topics!
