Lindy Hop Beginners Courses
Want to learn to swing dance? Here's where to start! Join our next 4-week Lindy Hop Beginners' Course at a venue near you. The starting dates are on our home page. We have two 4-week courses, "6 beat and Charleston" and "8 beat and Swing Outs". You need to complete both, in any order, to move on to the next level of drop in classes. Balboa Beginners Courses
Want to learn the smooth partnered danced known as Balboa? This is the place! Swing Zing offers the only Balboa courses in Perth! Start with our "Pure Balboa" 4-week course. This will show you the original Balboa dance moves and help you gain a solid foundation. Our second 4-week course, "Bal-Swing", extends your basics and teaches you more sophisticated patterns with more fun partner work. Our "Pure Balboa" course is a pre-requisite for the "Bal Swing" course. Smooth-soled shoes such as leather or suede are highly recommended. Click on the course below to see further details. Where:Yugal Club, 228 Oxford Street, Leederville Cost:$60 Bookings: not required, just show up at the first class! Bring: Smooth-soled shoes such as leather or suede are highly recommended, so you can slide your feet on the floor.

8-9pm Lindy Hop Level 2 Drop-In Class
This is a drop-in Beginner/Intermediate level Lindy Hop class (meaning no booking needed, just drop in any week!).
Cost: $15 Special Offer: if you take this class, you are welcome to come an hour early and take the Level 1 class beforehand for FREE. A good warm up, meet the new dancers, and of course, it's always good to brush up on your fundamentals! -
Applecross Classes on Tuesdays: Tivoli Theatre, 2 Kintail Rd, Applecross

8-9pm Lindy Hop Level 2 Drop-In Class
This is a drop-in Beginner/Intermediate level Lindy Hop class (meaning no booking needed, just drop in any week!).
Cost: $15 for one class. Subsequent classes on the same night only $10. Special Offer: if you take this class, you are welcome to come an hour early and take the Level 1 class beforehand for FREE. 8-9pm Lindy Hop Level 2 Drop-In Class
This is a drop-in beginner/intermediate level Lindy Hop class.
No booking needed, drop in any week! Cost: $15 for one class. Subsequent classes on the same night only $10.9-10pm Lindy Hop Level 3 Drop-In Class (Twice Monthly: Aug 5, 19, Sept 2, 16, Oct 7, 21, Nov 4, 11, Dec 2, 16)
This is a drop-in intermediate/advanced level Lindy Hop class. Your teachers will invite you to this class, or you can ask to join.
No booking needed, drop in any week! Cost: $15 for one class. Subsequent classes on the same night only $10.9-11pm SOCIAL DANCE (on every 2nd and 4th weeks of the month)
Have fun putting your new skills into practise with DJ's and occasional live bands!
Cost: Free entry for DJ nights. Entry charges for bands will be advertised in our newsletter.7-8pm Balboa Level 2 Drop-In Class (BACK ROOM)
This is a drop-in beginner/intermediate level Balboa class.
No booking needed, drop in any week! Try to wear smooth soled shoes, not too sticky (leather, suede or smooth rubber). Cost: $15 for one class. Subsequent classes on the same night only $10.
