Alix Jordan (Swing Zing Instructor)

Alix has recently arrived to WA from Melbourne, but assures us this is where her heart is!

Alix has been a professional Street Latin (Salsa, Mambo) dancer and instructor for six years in Melbourne, in which she holds a Professional Oscar with Honours (the highest level of achievement in that style). Having also studied calisthenics, modern jazz dance and Rock 'n Roll (including performing in national and international touring shows, as a dancer and acrobat), Alix had still not found what she was really looking for.

The second she discovered the joy and magic of SWING, she knew that this was it. With a background in gymnastics, Alix loves any chance to 'fly' and quickly found there was plenty of opportunity in the high-flying acrobatics of Lindy Hop!

Alix adores swing dancing as an exciting performance style, combined with a fun social danceform in Perth's warm and welcoming swing community.
