New Wednesday Night Class!

This class is for those wanting to learn how to add finesse and punch to their dancing through connection, musicality and styling, as well as be pushed with some fast Lindy, aerials and segues into other swing styles. It is not a replacement for regular technique classes, but an option to push your dancing further. The material in these classes is also very useful to know for performance purposes.

When:7-8pm Wednesday Nights

Venue: King St Arts Centre. (either studio 1, 2 or 3 depending on which week)

Fee: $15 drop in class

Level: You have been taking Level 2 classes for 6 months or longer.

Partners: You will need to bring a partner for the dedicated aerials nights (which will be advertised). Some classes will have ‘lifts’ rather than aerials that can be done in regular rotation classes. You can start thinking about potential partners now so when the aerials classes come around, you’ll be ready and on the ball!

Sept 1 & 8: Balboa Crash Course with Jake & Sophie

Balboa for Lindy Hoppers. These 2 weeks will get you dancing all the Bal essentials! No previous Bal knowledge needed.

Sept 15 & 22: Connection Love with Jake & Alix

Jake and Alix want to share the love! The Connection Love! The love that makes the dance schmance!

Sept 29: Al & Leon Shim Sham with Leah!

Also called the Savoy Shim Sham. A fun variation on the original Shim Sham, including some wild kicks, slides and boogies.
